The Glasgow School of Art’s portfolio course is wonderful for those starting out in their creative endeavours. Deborah Holland and Joanie Jack create an exciting environment for their students to take risks and try out anything and literally everything. Over a period of 4 months we came in to film on certain ‘big’ days. Students and staff were both motivated and with the bizarre, visually interesting backgrounds we choose simply to place the camera in lots of static places to let the energy come through. After a lot of work in the edit, Joanie and Deborah gave us a pass!
